In 2019 we were able to provide over $60,000 to local charities and scholarships. Unfortunately, as a result of COVID-19, we will not be able to have an Aware White Party this year, but please hold August 21st, 2021 open for our Aware White Party with a “Flair of Respect”.
As the need for assistance for 501©3 non-profit organizations and our scholarships have increased and 18 organizations have applied for funding, we have decided to have a “Love is Love” Campaign to raise those funds without a 2020 White Party. West Shore Aware would like to personally request your consideration of a sponsorship for this Campaign.
As you know, West Shore Aware is a non-profit 501©3 organization of LGBTQ+ individuals and their friends living in the West Michigan lakeshore region. Its mission is to raise funds for local 501©3 charities and groups within the greater lakeshore area along with funding collegiate scholarships at Grand Valley State University and Saugatuck High School. Our past recipients include such organizations as women’s shelters, art programs, advocacy centers and nutritional programs for children, hospice programs, HIV/AIDS awareness, library needs and national marriage equality to name a few. SILVER $1,000 T0 $2,499
